Reiki is a form of hands-on healing, with its origins in India and the east dating back many thousands of years to the time before Christ and Buddha. The original name, disciples and techniques of Reiki were lost due to the traditional method of passing knowledge from generation to generation by word of mouth. Exactly when this ancient art of healing disappeared is difficult to determine. However we do know that it was rediscovered by a Japanese scholar and monk named Dr Mikao Usui.

Reiki Attunements

There are 3 degrees of Reiki that are passed down from teacher to student.

Reiki Level 1

Reiki level 1 is also called Shoden, the attunement activates your healing hands as you begin building your reiki with physical and self-healing. This attunement also cleanses and heals us our auras and chakras.

Reiki Level 2

Reiki level 2 is also called Okuden and focuses on healing at the mental and emotional level. At this level you gain 2 symbols to practice and build your reiki with distant healing. This attunement heals the past, past lives and assist with addictions and negative thinking patterns.

Reiki Level 3

Reiki level 3 is also called Shinpiden focuses on health and healing on the spiritual soul level and teaching Reiki. We turn the work over to our god, our guides and higher intelligence as we learn that we are no longer in charge of the treatment. Here you learn you are truly a conduit of energy and commit to a life of good.
